A Totally Not Late, Final Wednesday Post!!!
January 28th, 2026, the day before the final exam started off with a bang. A few brave soldiers woke up to hopefully watch the sunrise from the Fisherman’s Bastion, with no luck.
Upon return the kitchen had prepared quite an astonishing platter of bacon for our consumption, and when they realized not all of us had gotten food, they made sure to give the class some spare pasties.
After a quick stop for a picture at the Diver and Key statue, Gavin, Henry and Kemble went to Asian Street Food Market for the last time ever. It will be missed. They brought the food into the classroom and ate it while waiting for the rest of the class to arrive.
Upon everyone's arrival, the whole class presented on the cultural projects we had been working on all month. It was very interesting to see all the cool stuff our classmates had been learning about Hungarian history, art, music, sports, dancing, volunteering, and more. Adam enjoyed some presentations more than others.
Following this, Emese and co. gave us custom tote bags filled with gifts! We can't wait to cook chicken paprikash at home with our Hungarian paprika.
Then, Kemble, Gavin and Henry got Italian food for dinner with some others! Kemble and Henry ordered ravioli, which was good but not enough food. Good thing we saved some muffins from breakfast.
Then we studied more, wish us luck.
Gordie also lost his passport, it was not fun
Embassy people bullied him
And now he is sad
That’s the end.
- 5 men, 1 boy, Gavin, Kemble, Henry, and Gordy
