Day 5: Delightful Double Math Day

Sziastok!

Our morning began with another slushy commute to our classroom at the gorgeous McDaniel College Budapest. Seriously, why doesn’t old main look like this inside as well? After settling in the class learned their second proof technique, mathematical induction, not without jamming out to the firetruck siren (which sound much cooler in Budapest).

The group then split up to various locations for lunch. A big hit this week continues to be the Asian street food place, with lots of little shops to choose from everyone can find something yummy for a very reasonable price.

During lunch some light snow began and continued through our second math lesson which included discussion about whether 1 should be considered a prime number. This was a very hot topic that continues to be up for debate. After class some went out shopping to gather some groceries and others continued to work on homework.

Dinner for Emily, Clyde, Adam, and TJ included more lángos. During Professor dinner the restaurant continuously played Rick Astley, Helen, Changmin, Elizabeth, Atlas, Jerry and Professor Berliner were Rick Rolled at least twice.

Lángos!

The evening concluded with some games in the hotel and a late night walk!
